I have had the pleasure to shoot local Los Angeles Fashion Designer Anthony Franco for Kode Magazine's first new issue. He was such an amazing guy and really outgoing. His clothes are amazing and his men's collection is amazing. I really loved his suits! Mr. Franco is a really funny guy, so it was really fun to photograph him in pictures.
Be sure to purchase an issue of Kode’s new magazine!
Check out more pictures from the shoot:
Eugenie of Feral Creature had me take awesome pictures of her new place! It’s freaking huge and full of clothes already, it’s like a store but in reality it’s just her closet. Her dogs are the best too! Ms. Chihuahua hoarder! All her dogs are rescue dogs, and they happened to be all chihuahuas.
Also the images were featured on Nylon Japan! Be sure to buy the issue when it comes out!
You should just check out the images:

Until next time for my next round up!
March was great with blogger Eugenie of Feral Creature this month. Spring is soon to end and Summer is beginning, so we’ve been shooting at the beach and she’s been showing off some more skin, in a good way though! A lot skirts, dresses, and some swimwear! They’re really amazing and edgy stuff for the Summer season coming up but still appropriate to this crazy bi-polar LA weather. Eugenie definitely makes edgy clothes casual and I love it!

I had the pleasure of shooting fashion blogger Dianna of Vanity Room this month. Dianna is a very nice and cute girl. Her style and fashion sense is really great. So for this shoot it was really boho-esque because of all the festivals that’s coming up, so she wanted to dress for the occasions.
Anyways just take a look at the awesome outfits!
My 2nd published editorial of the year! It feels amazing to be able work with Photogenics LA, they’re probably my favorite agency so far. Coming back from Georgia, I really wanted to shoot again. So as soon as I landed, I did not hesitate to contact and start a testing relationship with Photogenics! I believe my work has really improved from my trip to Georgia. It really test my skills and show what I’ve learned since I left. It’s amazing what I can do now, but I’ve been working hard to get here, and I’m still learning as I shadow along my mentor Sylvia.
I’m truly proud to be published on Factice Magazine. For this shoot, I really loved China Town lights. The neon colors were just amazing as I first saw them when I was kid. Shooting Gabriel was a breeze, he took direction very well and my team was amazing. It was my first time working with everyone, and I’m glad it turn out just awesome.

Behind The Scenes:
I love when friends come and visit from far away. My friend, Brian Dublin is a local singer songwriter in San Jose, CA. I went up there early this year but didn’t have a chance to hangout with him because I told him last minute where to meet up. It’s great that he took a trip down to So Cal though. I knew that he was staying in Long Beach, which is where I reside. So we had to hangout, and I knew that he doesn’t have any portraits of him, so on flyers he would use Instagram Selfies. I definitely took the opportunity to take pictures for him.
Brian is a really fun and chill dude. Always a pleasure to photograph people who are just calm and relaxed in front of the camera.
Be sure to check out his amazing music on youtube
My friend Ero, who dances for Common Grounds, contacted me to shoot some new portraits of him before his birthday. It’s been awhile since we’ve hung out. We both live in Long Beach, but we do not see each other often. It’s always nice when your friends can ask you to take photos of them.
Any ways check out the photos:
It was so great coming back to California and shooting familiar faces again. It was so amazing to see Eugenie of Feral Creature, after a whole month of not shooting her, I felt like I was losing my touch! So as soon as I landed in California I told her immediately we need to plan a day to shoot!
Slowly we’ve both became very busy with our business! I’m so glad that we have both seen each other grow as creatives. Feral Creature’s style is hard to describe but it seems to be that edgy, funky, and chic look. She’s definitely out of the ordinary. There’s nothing that she wouldn’t be able to pull off.
But here are some pictures from our month February!
I recently shot Tommy Lei for his style/fashion blog, My Belonging. It was a really fun and casual shoot for his blog.
Tommy is this really chill, laidback dude, and loves food as much as I do. His style really describes him, really casual and chic. For this set he got featured on Details!
I was really happy to shoot him this month because we’ve been planning to shoot for awhile. Anyways, just check out the images below! :D
There’s nothing but excitement and adventurous moments during this journey. I cannot explain the joy that I had last year, but I have to say, if it wasn’t for the people who enjoy my work, I definitely wouldn’t be motivated to do the things I do. Getting feedback and admiration, I have to say that’s probably the best part about this whole job. I love when I have clients who understand the creativity of this career and understand the work of it. There’s no way to describe how I feel when I get that response when people see my work. It’s a heartfelt feeling when people love my photography. But I know there’s much more to do to pursue what I’m doing. I’m still young in the game but you know, if I pave my path in the right direction I will surely get to where I need to be.
I want to thank those who have followed my work for a long time and see my progress! I’ve enjoyed my journey as a photographer so far and I’m happy to see myself improve. There’s so much more to learn, but I’m really happy that I could make this happen for myself. From shooting weird shit to actually photographing absolutely wonderful people and things. I’ve started my year right and hopefully much more will be coming my way. Everyday is an improvement and as I learn more the better things will become!
To all the people I’ve worked with in the past, thank you! You guys are amazing, I hope we all progress and move forward with our choice in life! We creatives do so much to get what we want. Our motivation is what get us through the day. So I appreciate that you guys gave me the opportunity to work with you and join your creation! Without you guys, what is there for me to photograph? THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Here are some old photos to recap my journey so far:
Ever since I came back to California I’ve been just shooting bloggers and going to meetings with a few people but mostly at home editing and replying to emails. But I did reach out to one of the agencies here in LA, Photogenics Media, and was able to book a model for the weekend. So I had to go location scout for a place to shoot!
My friend Titus does thing where he only updates his Facebook profile picture once a year and we were supposed to shoot for his profile picture awhile back. Since I wasn’t able to shoot it, I decided to ask him if he wanted to location scout with me and take photos in Chinatown at night. So now the outcome is that he has a choice of many, for his profile picture and I have locations where I exactly want to shoot.
So I’ve known Johnny for about 4 years now. We met each other through mutual friends, and he was also into photography. He did it as a hobby, and I actually pursued it as a career. There was also a period of time when I worked for his mother at their nail shop. It was great getting know Johnny. Now he has a girlfriend and works for a car company. It was great seeing him again and being able to take pictures of him and his girlfriend, Jennifer. They’re both corky and funny, so it was easy to shoot them together. You can see that in the photos I took.
So take a look at the photos I’ve captured! :D
So I recently came back from multiple trips, Atlanta and The Bay Area (Nor Cal) just a few weeks ago! I had a wonderful experience with shooting and exploring new places. It was a pleasant time meeting my old friends and making new friends on these amazing trips.
So I had a month trip here visiting my family and old friends. I also was able to meet amazing and talented people. I really appreciated that my friend, Aspen, who attends SCAD let me borrow her school’s studio to do my test shoots with the agencies out in Atlanta. I also had amazing news hearing one of my friend is pregnant now, I’m super happy for her.
When I did try to leave back to California, it snowed. It freaking snowed, and my flight got cancelled but luckily I was able to book another flight. I was scared because I had a trip to The Bay Area that weekend of.
These are some photos of my trip to Georgia!
Coming back from Georgia, I had to go to The Bay area with my mentor, Sylvia. We had a wedding to shoot in San Mateo. The wedding location was breath taking, but sadly we had to shoot indoors because of rain. It seems like weather likes to follow me around. Luckily, my mentor’s client was super easy and chill about it being indoors.
I got to meet some of her amazing and interesting friends with our mini vacation in The Bay Area. I had such a great time meeting everyone and it was great seeing my friend Patrick again and my other friend Huong in San Jose! OH, and I was able to buy a bottle of Orange Sauce from La Vic’s, so I was super happy. If you haven’t had it yet, you should go try some.~
You can see more photos on my mentor’s blog too:
Quyen is an old co-worker that I used to work with back in Georgia doing nails. My friend Johnny, which happens to be her nephew, showed her my work when he was booking me for a shoot with his girlfriend, and she really liked my photography, so she ended up booking me too! This was her very first shoot with her boyfriend, Adrian. They were so easy to work with and great in front of the camera. Glad the day was nice out too!
Anyways, take a look at the photos I took for them!
